Overview
The process to produce Air texturised yarn is completely mechanical that makes use of a cold air stream to manufacture bulked yarn. Draw texturised yarn (DTY) and Air texturised yarn (ATY) are both made from POY. However the presence of millions of small loops gives it its distinctive look and feel. It is used in making dress material, furnishing fabrics and luggage fabric.
